Barbara Davis Blum, Treasurer


Barbara Davis Blum is the Chairperson of Main Street Bank in Herndon, Virginia and has also served for 15 years as Chairperson, President and CEO of the country’s largest woman owned, publicly traded bank and bank holding company.

She was the first woman deputy director of a successful U.S. Presidential campaign and served as the Deputy Director of the Carter Presidential Transition before being appointed the Deputy Administrator of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

She was the Chairperson of the congressionally mandated Resource Conservation and Recovery Commission and the Senior Advisor to the United Nations Environment Programming.

She has been active in Native American affairs for nearly 30 years and served on many corporate and non-profit Boards including the United Nations University for Peace.
