James D. Santini Former Nevada Congressman Jim Santini served as the last Nevada lone (at large) Congressman for four terms, from 1975 to 1983. From 1969 to 1970 Jim was Clark County Public Defender and then he served as a Clark County District Court Judge and Las Vegas Justice of the Peace from 1970 to 1974. While in Congress, Jim was co-founder and chair of the 287 member Democratic/Republican Congressional Travel and Tourism Caucus and he was a House leader in the 1981 passage of the Travel and Tourism Policy Act. In Jim’s post Congressional
professional life, he has been primarily engaged in representing various
segments of the travel and tourism industry. These clients include the
National Tour Association, the National Park Hospitality Association,
and the US Air Tour Association. From 1988 to the present Jim has served
as a presidential appointed member of IAIA’s Board of Trustees.
