Bidtah N. Becker
Bidtah N. Becker (Diné) has dedicated her personal and professional life to the Navajo Nation. She is currently the Assistant Attorney General for the Navajo Nation Department of Justice where she works on both environmental and natural resources matters concerning and affecting the Nation.
She is so convinced about the important work of the Navajo Nation Department of Justice that she helped found the Tribal In-House Counsel Association, the first association dedicated to organizing lawyers working in house for tribal nations and their enterprises. Ms. Becker has been dedicated to the Native arts and culture through her service on the board of the Southwestern Association for Indian Arts and serves as chairperson of SWAIA in 2015.
She is a proud graduate of Georgetown University School and the University of New Mexico School of Law.
Ms. Becker and her family, husband Paul Spruhan and two children, live on the Nation.
