  • In 2014, IAIA underwent a periodic evaluation by its regional accrediting agency, the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association (HLC).  IAIA has been accredited by the HLC since 1984.  The campus will host a team of HLC peer evaluators on March 24-26, 2014, who will meet with students, faculty, staff, the Board of Trustees and others.  In preparation for the visit, the institution has prepared a self-study in which we demonstrate how IAIA meets the HLC Criteria for Accreditation.  It is available for review.  If you have any comments or questions, please contact Dr. Bill Sayre, Director of Institutional Research, at bsayre@iaia.edu or 505-424-2364. • In addition to HLC accreditation, IAIA’s Studio Arts, Museum Studies and Cinematic Arts and Technology departments are accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD).  We are the only institution in New Mexico with NASAD accreditation.  NASAD reviewers are also visiting the campus on March 24-26, 2104, and they will consider Museum Studies for accreditation, too.
