IAIA - Institute of American Indian Arts

Hold Policy

A “hold” may be placed on a student’s enrollment, transcript request, or diploma when a student has not met the conditions or obligations of IAIA as outlined in this catalog, the Student Handbook, or other official IAIA publications.

For example, the Finance and Administration Office may place a hold for an unpaid financial obligation to the Institute.

The Dean of Students may place a hold on the enrollment of a student who has been suspended or expelled for disciplinary reasons.

A hold may also be placed on the enrollment of a student who has been placed on Academic Suspension.
