Program Director

Donna Harrington, MBA

Donna Harrington is the Director of Business, Entrepreneurship, and Academic Technology at IAIA. Her expertise is in Technology Management, Entrepreneurship and Distance Education.  She has recently been appointed Director of the Business and Entrepreneurship Certificate Program.  


Ms. Harrington’s undergraduate work was completed at the University of New Mexico. She has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA), with an emphasis in Technology Management from the University of Phoenix.

Major Professional Activities

Donna worked at the State of New Mexico, Higher Education Department, IDEAL – NM Program, as the Chief Technology Officer. Her primary responsibility was the implementation of a statewide online learning environment in support of public education, higher education and professional training for state agencies. She also was the co-developer of the Entrepreneurship program at Santa Fe Community College. Donna has been a self-employed technology consultant specializing in enterprise educational systems since 2002 and is also a Blackboard Certified Trainer.
