IAIA - Institute of American Indian Arts

Distance Learners

The Library can provide reference services to IAIA distance students via the Library website and through email and phone consultations. Students enrolled in IAIA distance courses have access to all IAIA Library databases electronically from their home site 24/7.

IAIA distance students may obtain instructions to assist them in finding materials at their home site. WorldCat allows searching of library collections and materials available worldwide.

The physical library collection contains over 38,000 items. It includes works in all genres by Native American authors, materials focused on Native American arts and history, and special collections including materials donated by the Lannan Foundation and Joy Harjo. IAIA distance students have access to this extensive collection when on campus.
