Note:  Indirect costs for Books & Supplies, Transportation/Travel and Room & Board expenses will vary. Room & Board costs are calculated at current conference rates at IAIA for the summer residency and nearby hotel prices for the winter residency. Summer housing requires refundable damage deposits for classroom use, $75, and housing use, $100. There is also a $20 key fee.


We offer two Truman Capote Trust Scholarships, five Lannan Foundation Scholarships,and one Beverly and Michael Morris Scholarship each year and are currently raising funds for other scholarships. There is no separate application for these Scholarships; all students who apply by February 15 will be considered for these and any other scholarships that become available. Prospective students might also want to explore funding opportunities at the American Indian Graduate Center and The American Indian College Fund.


For full consideration for all available scholarships, please complete a FAFSA by March 1.  Scholarships are competitive and may be based upon financial need as determined by official FAFSA results.
