Jim Rivera

Jim Rivera is the Financial Aid & Scholarship Advisor and has been with IAIA for over ten years.


Jim graduated from IAIA in the early ninety’s with an AFA in 2D/3D Art and then went on to the San Francisco Art Institute and graduated with a BFA.  He obtained his MFA at Vermont College of Fine Art in 2013.

Major Professional Activities

Jim is Yoeme (Pascua Yaqui) from Barrio Libre, Tucson, Arizona. His art practice consists of Painting, Found Objects, Clay, Comic Art, Drawing, Illustration and Time based work. He is happy to be here at IAIA and looks forward to helping students in anyway possible.
