Non-Degree-Seeking and Audit Students
General Information
Non-degree seeking and audit students are full- or part-time students who wish to take a course or courses during the semester without earning credit toward a degree. If they later wish to apply to a degree program, they must submit all of the required items for admission to that degree program. These students:
- Pay regular tuition and fees and are subject to IAIA’s rules and regulations
- Must live off-campus
- Register for classes after degree-seeking students have registered
- May not request credit status for a class after the last day to add a course according to the Academic calendar
- Are not eligible for Financial Aid from IAIA
Application Requirements
Follow these steps to apply:
- Complete an Application Form (apply online, download the IAIA Admission Application (
, 104.6 KiB) or request from Admissions, Records & Enrollment Office at: 1-800-804-6422)
- Either demonstrate fulfillment of any course prerequisite or a signed waiver of the requirement (prerequisite) from the instructor before registering
These documents need only be provided once, unless the student has not been in attendance for more than one semester.
