THE RAINBOW CREEK DANCERS @ IAIA MUSEUM ART PARK

One of Canada’s premier First Nations performing arts companies, the Rainbow Creek Dancers of British Columbia, will be showcased in two performances at the IAIA Museum Art Park in downtown Santa Fe.

Both performances take place on Saturday, August 5. The first 30-minute performance begins at 10 am, followed by a second, 30-minute performance at 11 am. Both shows are free to the public.

Traditional Haida dances such as the Salmon Dance, Shark Dance and Raven Dance are among the half-dozen works presented by The Rainbow Creek Dancers in their performances. Headdresses, costumes and traditional Haida songs characterize the elements of the company’s presentations.
