UPCOMING PUBLIC EVENTS AT IAIA CAMPUS & MUSEUM
Dec. 1 – Unraveled Secrets. Contemporary art from Alaska artist Sonja Kelliher-Combs at the IAIA Museum (North Gallery). Dec. 1 through March 4.
Dec. 1 & 2 – Red Ink/White Pages. A reading of new works by Ken Hazipta Taylor and Millissa Alger. 7:30pm (Fri. & Sat.) in the LTC auditorium.
Dec. 2 – Holiday Season Bazzar. Dozens of student artists, staff, faculty and graduates selling original art in a festival environment along the hallways of the Administration Building. 10am to 3pm.
Dec. 5 – New Directions Symposium. Daylong workshop for Native American photographers and filmmakers, presented by National Geographic’s All Roads Film Project. In conjunction with the Santa Fe Film Festival. LTC Auditorium, 9am to 5pm.
Dec. 8 – Thus it Is, Let it be True. Primitive Edge Gallery wraps up 2006 with a show featuring more than three dozen works by nearly two dozen student artists. Through Jan. 30. Opening Reception: 5 to 7pm, Friday Dec. 8. Administration Building, 10am to 5pm.
The IAIA Museum in downtown Santa Fe is the premier exhibiting institution for contemporary Native and Indigenous art from across North America.
