Crazy Days at the Lazy H: The James Luna Archive brown-bag-lunch

This event will be held on the IAIA campus in the Center Lifelong Education 2nd Floor – Common Area.

Bring your lunch and join MoCNA Curator of Collections Tatiana Lomahaftewa-Singer (Hopi/Choctaw) and IAIA Archivist Ryan S. Flahive as they reveal the adventures of collecting the archive of performance and installation artist James Luna (Luiseno/Diegueno) at his home on the La Jolla Indian Reservation in California. They will discuss lessons learned from the process and future goals for a public living Native artist repository at IAIA.

This free lunchtime series will feature guest speakers, open dialogue and engaging discussions
around contemporary Native art.
