motivated and talented students from a diversity of tribal backgrounds
and cultural experiences. Admission is granted without regard to age,
gender, race, sexual orientation, marital status, handicap, or religion.
The Institute believes in quality of educational opportunity and welcomes
all applications for admission. Non-Indian applicants are evaluated
by the same criteria as American Indian, Alaska Native and Canadian
Indian applicants.
IAIA Ability to Benefit

whether a potential student will be able to benefit with or without
remedial education/training, from the program(s) offered at the school.
The Admissions Committee reviews and evaluates each application for
admission to assess the prospective student’s potential to do
well in the Institute’s specialized educational program. Admission
to the Institute is determined by evaluation of the student’s
potential based on a number of criteria. If you have any questions,
call the Admissions Office at 800.804.6422 or 505.424.2332.
