Studio Health and Safety Lecture by Duane Slick

Duane Slick, an enrolled member of the Meskwaki Tribe (Sac and Fox Tribe of the Mississippi in Iowa) visits IAIA to give a talk on studio health and safety.

A professor of painting and printmaking at the Rhode Island School of Design, Providence, RI, Slick holds an MFA in painting from the University of California-Davis, Davis CA, and both a BFA in painting and BA in art education from the University of Northern Iowa, Cedar Falls, IA. He has been awarded over 25 artist residencies and the 2003 Joan Mitchell Painters and Sculptors Grant.
