The IAIA Circle of Honor Wall
The
IAIA Circle of Honor Wall recognizes in perpetuity individuals, corporations,
foundations, tribes and government entities who have given $5,000 and
above to support construction of IAIA’s new campus. After 38 years
of leasing facilities from other institutions, IAIA moved to its permanent
home in the summer of 2000. It took the extraordinary vision of many to
make IAIA’s new campus a reality. One that stands out among all
others is Larry Meyers, the late Mr. White and Leland Thompson of Rancho
Viejo Partnership, Ltd., who donated 140 acres of land for IAIA’s
new campus in 1989.
The future of IAIA lies with those who are willing to make an investment
in the future of American Indian art, in Indian economic development,
in the next generation of tribal and community leaders, and in the diversity
of the American cultural landscape.
