Giving to IAIA

HOW TO GIVE

There are several ways to make a gift:

Credit Card

Contributions and memberships in IAIA’s Circle of Friends Program can be made online using Mastercard, VISA, American Express or Discover card.

You can also print out a gift form and mail in your contribution.

Cash

For tax purposes, cash gifts are considered complete on the date they are postmarked or personally delivered. They can include donations of maturing bonds and certificates of deposit, money market accounts and savings accounts. To make a cash gift by mail, print out the gift form, and mail it along with your check, payable to the IAIA Foundation.

Stock and Securities

A gift of securities provides a tax savings to most donors and is often eligible for corporate matching gift programs. Electronically transferring stock directly from your account to IAIA is the fastest and easiest way to donate and minimizes possible declines in value from delays after the time you decide to donate. The payment of capital gains tax on appreciated stock held more than one year can also be avoided by using this method.

To discuss giving opportunities, contact the Office of Institutional Advancement at 800.804.6423 or 505.424.5704.
