CAMPUS BACKGROUND

Raising the $4 million needed to construct the administration component of the Library and Technology Center (LTC) will complete Phase 1 of construction on the campus.

The Institute has constructed five of the six buildings of Phase One of its New Campus Plan –
Academic Center
Student Housing
Student Life Center
Cultural Learning Center
Facilities Management

Library & Technology Center

The total cost to construct the LTC is $10 million. To-date, a total of $6 million has been raised, thus construction of the LTC has begun. With a design/build concept for construction, achieving the goal of $4 million will complete the administrative component.

Circle of Honor WallThe CIRCLE OF HONOR WALL on IAIA’s new campus is located on the campus plaza between the Academic Center and the LTC. The names of those giving $5,000 and above to IAIA’s new campus construction will be permanently inscribed on red granite tiles placed permanently on the wall that circles the campus plaza.

A 55,750 square foot, state-of-the-art facility, the LTC will support the Institute’s expanded degree programs, enhancing the Institute’s ability to better serve American Indian students from across the country. Comprised of technology/research and instructional components, the facility will also house Administration offices. When finished, the building will consist of three components:
