THE MAGAZINE SHOW
This exhibition represents artwork that was used as part of an advertising campaign to promote the Institute of American Indian Arts Museum (IAIA) collection. IAIA houses the leading collection of contemporary Native American fine art in the world. The twelve month ad campaign was exclusive to THE Magazine, the premier Art magazine in Santa Fe. The ads were designed with minimal text allowing for the main focus to be on the image, not on the words. This was not only a departure of advertising style for IAIA but for Indian fine art in general.
