Melissa Melero – Willow and Bone

Willow and Bone shows new works by Melissa Melero. Figurative styles inherent of her Northern Paiute surroundings of Northern Nevada that have transformed into what her contemporaries call “an alchemy of mediums and narrative in high textures and bright abstracts.”

The exhibition is on display January 6-April 2, 2012, in the Lloyd Kiva New Gallery at the Museum of Contemporary Native Arts (MoCNA) in Santa Fe. Opening reception is January 7, 2-4 pm.
