Five decades of art education at the Institute of American Indian Arts (IAIA) has produced a large body of thought-provoking work. Beginning in January, the Museum of Contemporary Native Arts (MoCNA) offers five exhibitions in its Winter line-up featuring art from its vast national collection.

Willow and Bone shows new works by Melissa Melero. Figurative styles inherent of her Northern Paiute surroundings of Northern Nevada that have transformed into what her contemporaries call “an alchemy of mediums and narrative in high textures and bright abstracts.”
