The Native Eyes Project is now well underway. Stage One, funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities, oversaw the construction of two pilot courses Indigenous Perspectives I and Foundations of Native American Society, which provide an introduction to the new undergraduate major Indigenous Studies: Perspectives on Knowledge and Culture. Sample teaching units from these two courses can be seen on the tour. Additional materials will be added to the site throughout 2003. It is hoped that interested persons will revisit the developing site to get a more complete idea of the innovative pedagogical approaches to both content and format now underway.

We have provided an email survey form below, to encourage visitors to submit feedback and comments to the Native Eyes Staff. Because the Project will continue for a period of several years, your comments might well make a contribution to this initiative. You are also welcome to seek additional information about Native Eyes from the Project Director, Wade Chambers.
