The Board of Trustees of the Institute of American Indian and Alaska Native Culture and Arts Development (IAIA) invites qualified candidates to be IAIA’s next President.

The Institute of American Indian Arts (IAIA) is a multi-Tribal center of higher education dedicated to the preservation, study, creative application, and contemporary expression of American Indian and Alaska Native arts and cultures.

Our mission is premised on the belief that the arts are primary and inseparable expressions of living Native cultures. We are committed to sustainable development and the environment.

IAIA is congressionally chartered and consists of (1) a fully accredited college granting baccalaureate and associates degrees, (2) a world class art museum that houses the National Collection of Contemporary Indian Art and (3) an in-progress Center for Lifelong Education. IAIA is a nationally respected institution located in Santa Fe, New Mexico and dedicated to serving the needs of American Indian, Alaska Native and Canadian First Nations peoples.
