"Bob Haozous: Indigenous Dialogue" IAIA Museum

$25.00
(members $22.50)

Indigenous Dialogue is a call to action to Native American artist, for the purpose of collectively uncovering indigenous ideas and reaffirming values obscured by colonial influence and contemporary forces, both social and economical. This watershed exhibition showcases the impassioned work of New Mexico artist Bob Haozous- an unflinching observer of history, society, and contemporary culture. A member of the Warm Springs Chiricahua Apache tribe, Haozous’ work in fused with personal and societal conflicts compromise, reject expectations, and revels in controversy. Amidst this seriousness, however, Haozous seldom omits an injection of powerful wit, as he explores the “white man in all of us.”
